Overnight oats with chia // Havregrøt med chiafrø


This overnight oats with chia seeds is super easy to make, you can’t go wrong. Top it off with some fresh fruits and berries!

ENGLISH RECIPE

Ingredients

1 tsp cinnamon (optional). Toppings: fruit, nuts, seeds, toasted coconut, cereal, yogurt, etc.

1/2 cup (60g) rolled oats

1 cup (240g) plant milk

2 tbsp (16g) chia seeds

1 tbsp maple syrup (to taste)

1 tbsp cashew butter

Instructions
1. Combine all the ingredients in a jar.
2. Refrigerate overnight.
3. The following day, add toppings and eat as is

NORWEGIAN RECIPE

Ingredienser
1,5 dl havregryn.
3 dl plantemelk (jeg brukte rismelk)
2 ss chiafrø
1 ss lønnesirup
1 ss peanøttsmør
1 ts kanel
Topping; ca. 5 stk jordbær.

Instruksjoner
1. Bland alle ingrediensene i en lufttett beholder (tips; vask et tomt syltetøyglass og bruk som beholder).
2. Sett krukken i kjøleskapet og la den stå over natten.
3. Følgende dag, kutt opp jordbær og frokosten er klar!
