Pasta w/ vegan pesto // Pasta med vegansk pesto

English Recipe //

What your need:

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh basil (loosely packed)
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup pine nuts (or almonds or walnuts)
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup nutritional yeast
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Pasta

What you need to do:

  1. Put all ingredients (not the pasta) in a food processor and blend until nuts are ground. Now the pesto should still have texture and not be completely smooth.
  2. Add more salt and pepper if you want and your pesto are done!
  3. Boil pasta for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Add as much as you want of the pesto into the hot pasta.

Norwegian recipe //

Dette trenger du:

  • ca 4 dl. fersk basillikum (evt. frossen)
  • 1 dl. olivenolje
  • 3 dl. pinjekjerner (eventuelt valnøtter eller mandler).
  • 6 fed hvitløk.
  • 1 dl. næringsgjær (fås kjøpt på helsekosten, har en ostesmak).
  • 1 ts salt
  • 1 ts pepper
  • Pasta

Slik gjør du det:

  1. Ha alle ingrediensene utenom pastaen i en kjøkkenmaskin og bland det sammen til pestoen er nesten helt kremete.
  2. Smak til med salt og pepper.
  3. Kok pasta i 10-15 minutter.
  4. Når pastaen er ferdig, har du i ønsker mengde pesto.
