raw brownie cake // RÅ brownie kake

ENGLISH RECIPE
BASE
1 cup of almonds
1 cup of oat flour
3 dates
2 tbsp of maple syrup
4 tbsp water

MID LAYER
1 cup Medjool dates, pitted
1 cup raw cashews
1/4 cup fine shredded coconut
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup rolled oats
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2-5 tablespoons water (if needed)

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients for the BASE in a food processor. Blend until the mixture sticks together when pressed.
  2. Press the dough into a baking tin covered with parchement paper and put in the freezer.
  3. Place all the ingredients for the MID LAYER in the foodprocessor and blend until it becomes a dough.
  4. Spread the MID LAYER on top of the BASE and put in the freezer again – Store the cake in the freezer.
  5. When serving the cake; melt up some Vegan dark chocolate and spread over the cake when it’s still cold.

NORWGIAN RECIPE
BASEN
2,5 dl mandler
2,5 dl havremel
3 dadler (ferske/myke)
2 ss lønnesirup
6-8 ss vann

MIDT LAGET
2,5 dl ferske dadler
2,5 dl cashewnøtter
1 dl kokosmasse
3 ss bakekakao
0,5 dl havregryn
1 ts vaniljeekstrakt
2-5 ss vann dersom det trengs

Instruksjoner

  1. Ha ingrediensene til BASEN i en kjøkkenmaskin med kniver og kjør til røren blir en jevn deig. Spe på med vann eller havregryn dersom det trengs.
  2. Spre BASEN jevnt i en brødform dekket med bakepapir – sett i fryseren.
  3. Ha ingrediensene til MIDT LAGET i kjøkkenmaskinen og kjør til en deig, spre deigen jevnt over BASEN – sett i fryseren (kaken oppbevares i fryser).
  4. Før servering, smelt litt vegansk mørk sjokolade over kakestykkene mens de ennå er kalde slik at sjokoladen stivner!
