Vegan pancakes // Veganske pannekaker

English recipe //

What you need:

  • 1 cup oats 
  • 1 1/2 cup non-dairy milk (I use rice milk) 
  • 1/3 cup wholemeal flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 ripe banana, medium
  • oil for cooking (olive oil or coconut oil work great)
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

What you need to do:

  1. Put all the items into a large bowl and blend them using a hand blender.

  2. Spray or drizzle oil in a non-stick pan. Heat on a low-medium heat.
  3. Pour in a small amount of the batter. The pancakes should be small and thick.
  4. When the side facing you starts to bubble, the other side is done. Time to flip!
  5. Do the same on the oter side.
  6. When it’s nice and brown it’s ready!

Norwegian recipe //

Dette trenger du:

  • 2,5 dl havregryn
  • 3,5 dl rismelk (mandelmelk, havremelk evt).
  • 1 dl grovt mel
  • 2 ts bakepulver
  • 1 klype salt
  • 1 fersk banan
  • 2 ss Chiafrø
  • Olje for steking

Slik gjør du det:

  1. Band sammen alle ingredienser i en bolle. Bruk en stavmikser (evt. blender) til å blande alle ingrediensene sammen.
  2. Varm opp stekepannen og smør den med litt kokosolje.
  3. Legg små tykke pannekaker i stekepannen.
  4. Når overflaten begynner å boble, snu pannekaken.
  5. Gjør det samme på andre siden og.
  6. Når den er gyllenbrun er den klar!
